Words Create Worlds

Words Create Worlds (WCW) is a recurring live and online educational program created and presented by SoulFULL of Soulful Synergy®.

Words influence how we understand ourselves, communicate our experiences, preserve culture, interpret history, and relate to one another. Words Create Worlds examines language as more than a collection of definitions. Through educational seminars and facilitated conversation, participants are invited to investigate the historical, cultural, spiritual, and contemporary contexts surrounding the words and ideas we use.

What We Explore

• Language, meaning, and cultural context
• African and African-American spiritual concepts and traditions
• Ancestral knowledge and cultural memory
• Historical terminology and changing definitions
• Identity, communication, and community
• The relationship between inherited language and contemporary thought

Live & Online Seminars

Words Create Worlds seminars are presented live and online by Soulful Synergy®. Each seminar centers a specific subject or question and provides participants with historical context, educational material, and opportunities for thoughtful discussion.
